“Food for All” is our humble initiative in the fight against hunger and malnutrition in India.
India has slipped to number 107 out of 121 countries in the Global Hunger Index, 2022, and its level of hunger has been termed “serious”. India is one of 45 countries with severe levels of hunger. To us this is simply unacceptable. Our goal is to make our country hunger free.
We started this initiative on August 16, 2018 with the target to feed more than 500 kids every Sunday. We have continued to serve meals to the poor in Dehradun every Sunday, with a cumulative 20,000 plates served in 14 different slums so far.
We also conduct a Mega Food Drive on specific days in the year like New Years’ on January the 1st, International Children’s Day, and our Foundation Day, feeding 1000 children in a single day.
The approximate cost for a food drive is 6000-7000 for 100-120 number of people/children.
