The COVID pandemic was an unprecedented period in world history. While rampant deaths and fear gripped the world, there were newer challenges we needed to face and overcome. The migrant vulnerable populations we work with were rendered unemployed, hungry and without any healthcare facilities. Navigating travel restrictions, masking protocols and awaiting the vaccine, we were still able to reach the poorest of the poor to ensure that they and their families did not go hungry or did not have access to masks, sanitizers and COVID related healthcare.
– 17,600 cooked meals were distributed.
– Nearly 30,000 persons benefited from our Ration Kit Distribution.
– Once the vaccines were available, we held Covid Vaccination Camps at 5 different slum areas, to create awareness about it. 750 people were encouraged to take the first dose on time.
– 15,000+ Masks and Sanitizers were distributed.
– 37 Covid patients were provided Oxygen concentrators
– 78 patients were delivered Oxygen cylinders
– 18 Covid patients were given medicines since they were too poor to afford it.
– 109 Oximeters were given to patients suffering from Covid.
